I hope you all enjoyed this post and that you check out Ashley Ann’s Etsy shop! Happy Friday!
This is my outfit from Monday. We were experiencing bipolar Texas weather, even though it is almost April it was surprisingly cold 50’s during the heat of the day and 32 at night, that may sounds very mild to all of you in colder climates but when you go from the mid 70’s to that it’s quite a shock. So I figured I better take advantage of the cold and wear my lovely knit hat cause it’s gonna be months til it gets this cold again.
My sister’s dog had to join in on the fun too, aren’t we gorgeous 😉
Lipstick: I bought from ULTA its the NYX matte lip cream in Monte Carlo
Top: Hot Topic
Necklace: Forever 21, it was a gift from my big brother.
Jeans: Old Navy got these baby’s on clearance for $10
Shoes: Another gift, they are from my best friend, I love my TOMS.
I hope you all enjoyed this post have a happy Fashionable Friday and a fabulous weekend!
Here’s a sneak peek of a photoshoot I did today with my beautiful sister-in-law and awesome eldest brother.
*Warning this blog contains lots of pictures* On Saturday I did a photo shoot of my brother and his lovely wife. Boy, working with family certainly has its pros and cons…Pro you’re more relaxed because the professionalism doesn’t have to be so strong, con if you have a brother like mine you spend a good deal more time saying things like “stop making the stupid face or I will punch you” haha just kidding, sort of. But I think we got some pretty decent pictures regardless of silly faces here and there, so here they are, some of my favorite pictures.
This pic was very James Dean-esque.
And this was very much my brother.
My gorgeous Sister-in-law! Man is she a knockout or what?
Now this picture was meant to be a joke, but I quite like the way it turned out.
Lots of love 🙂
Man they’re cute!
A little bit of dancing!
I hope you all enjoyed this post. Happy Wednesday!
As someone who adores all things retro, I have recently been trying more vintage ways to style my hair, a week or so ago I tried pin curls and here is how I did them.
1. I started with clean hair (I didn’t have any product so my curls fell at the end of the day, next time I will use some gel or something).
This is what my hair looks like without any styling kinda boring.
2. I parted my hair, and put half in a ponytail holder to keep it out-of-the-way, then I rolled my hair all the way to my scalp, then pinned it with bobby pins.
What it looked like after all my hair was pinned up…ignore my silly face!
3. Then I went to sleep…pretty easy step huh? I found that pin curls are a good deal more comfortable to sleep in than sponge rollers or rag curls. However the pin curls are a good deal looser than what I have achieved with the rag curls or sponge rollers.
I must say I quite like the romantic look of these curls, next time I will use some product and let you guys know if the curls stay any better. Hope everyone has a great weekend and New Years!
I love this photo my goodness the girl could be a model!
we sure have fun! I am glad to have her as a friend!
