Fashion Friday Featuring Restricted Shoes Pt 1.

Hello my lovelies. Has this week been exceptionally long for anyone else or was it just me? Well regardless, it is finally the weekend hooray, and I have a wonderful post to share with you all. Today I am featuring Restricted shoes, a family-owned and opperated business that encourages all women to express their own personal style how they see fit, and is there any better way to express yourself than through shoes?  I think not.

Shoes: Restricted Shoes Well aren’t these shoes just a darling culmination of everything I love in footwear! First off the oxford design is superb, the height and stability of a wedge is killer, and can I just say that a T-strap detailing will get me everytime? I mean there is a reason the T-strap hasn’t been out of style since it first hit the scene in the 20’s. Plus these bad boys are really comfortable, honestly I was rather blown away  by how soft the faux leather is, translations I’m not going to get blisters *Hallelujah Chorus* 😉 all in all I could not be more thrilled by the shoes, they are stylish, comfortable, and positively timeless, what more could a girl want?

So I am still waiting on a swing dress to arrive in the mail (curse you Dallas Icestorm) but I wasn’t going to let that stop me from showing you all my beautiful new petticoat. So being as it is an “undergarment” I decided to have a bit of fun and do a “getting ready” type shoot.

Fashion Friday heads to Dallas Pinup.

So Saturday afternoon my best friend and I headed out for a bit of shopping. I had found out about Dallas Pinup just through searching google for Rockabilly/Pinup clothing stores in the Dallas region. Let me tell you I am beyond thrilled I found this place. The moment I walked through the door I felt as though I had died and gone to my own retail heaven! You walk in and your eyes don’t know where to settle first, the dress rack to your right? The cosmetics in the center? The hats on the left? Oh it’s all so perfect! I totally spaced and forgot to take interior pictures of the store sorry, maybe I was a little too excited 😉 I did manage to remember to snap a few pics of different dresses when I was in the fitting room though.

Almost bought this white dress, it was so darling! Doesn’t my best friend look stunning?

Another considered purchase, I was head over heals in love with the shape.

Please excuse my ever so messy hair, trying on clothes has a way of messing your do up. This romper was sooooo cute but you only get to see the top half cause it was a bit short on me. 😉 I did actually purchase a dress but you’ll just have to wait to see it. I want to give it a proper shoot. But I shall share my outfit I wore that day though.
