Oh Pinterest Why?

I have a love-hate relationship with Pinterest. I love it because basically its a giant culmination of everything I wanted, plus stuff I never knew I wanted. I hate pinterest though because I waste far too much time on it, and the main reason I hate it, is because it walks up to me all seductive and inviting… then slaps me in the face with the wet blanket that is reality *BAM*! The reality that…

Eating like this

Will not result in a body like this.

That I will never own a pair of these.

I mean yes I could save up and buy these…but $1000!!! Seriously I am the girl who manages a panic attack while spending $60. So no I don’t think I will ever own the beautiful Louboutins 😦

That my dream dress’ price matches that of a car.

Quit taunting me!

That my engagement ring will probably not look like this.

Wowza that’s gorgeous!

And the fact that I have zero patience to make something like this has not, nor will it ever change.

I made a coaster using this technique…ya only a coaster 😦

That with all the practice in the world I will still paint my nails like a drunken 4yr old.

Seriously what kind of black magic is this?

That in order to restore a beautiful automobile like this, I will have to save lots of money, and oh ya learn how to restore a car.

*drool*

That growing my hair to this length is going to take at least another 2 years.

If only.

The fact mommy will probably always detest the idea of tattoos, no matter how fabulous they are.

And lastly, finding a home in my budget that also happens to contain all of this, is about as likely as me running for president and winning!

Yes pinterest is a cruel mistress indeed. But it gives you something to strive, work, and save for…So I will probably frequent the site all the same. I hope you all enjoyed this post, and if you have any similar reality checks you have come across please feel free to share. Happy Thursday all!

Lazy Gold DIY!

I did a nail polish tutorial the other day with Zoya colors in Mia and Trixie, well I decided to try the same look but with Goldie and Mia. I pretty much painted my nails the same way I did last time, except I only did a single coat of mia, and just did the french manicure part free hand without the wooden skewer. So here is how it turned out!

I love how this box matched my nails!!!

Now for the lazy DIY portion of this blog. I was going through a box of old dress up jewelry I had as a kid, because you never know what cool thing you might find, and I found a really pretty clip-on earring, naturally I am not going to wear clip-ons…well on my ears that is. So I located a gold chain, and clipped on the earring making a really cute necklace!

I hope you guys enjoyed this post! I love that as of late I have been getting more feedback, so let me know what you think! Happy Thursday!
