Family Portraits

Today’s post is of the White family portrait session. We kept getting rained out for our scheduled shoots, but thankfully we found a day where neither of us were busy and it wasn’t raining cats and dogs. It was an absolute joy to photograph this family and I hope you all enjoy the pictures as much as I do.

Little sister was wanting to be done. But still this candid is positively adorable. I like portraits that capture who someone is at that exact moment. Being tired of having your picture taken and all 😉

Fashion Friday With My Twin

Today’s fashion post will be co-staring my beautiful fabulous “twin”. She and I have been best friends for about 13 years, I’m not sure when exactly when we started calling each other twins but we haven’t stopped, and let me tell you the looks we get when we tell people we’re twins is always priceless. As you’ll be able to tell from the pictures we clearly like to be silly. Hope you guys have as much fun viewing the pictures as we had taking them.

Maternity Shoot.

So here is the shoot I did with my sister-in-law and eldest brother. I have to admit I was pretty nervous about doing this shoot, I usually get nervous before any shoot, just because I want to make sure I give my client quality pictures. But it was especially important that I give my own family great pictures. This was my first maternity shoot, I have assisted during another, but never did one on my own. But I must say (without bragging) I think I managed to capture some rather nice shots.

Impromptu Photoshoot!

I thought I might share some pictures of an impromptu photoshoot I did not so long ago. The impromptu shoot was mostly fueled by the desire to play with some rented lenses…I am now officially saving up to buy myself an EF 85mm f/1.8 USM, because whilst photographing my “not so official” official model for my photography business I couldn’t get over how great this lens is. Of course my model is fantastic and makes my job a lot easier 😉

Can you believe this is a candid shot? She was talking when I took this photo! I never look this good candid, I normally look like I’m about to sneeze or something. She is ridiculously beautiful!

Fashion Friday!

Wow is it Friday already? This week flew by pretty quick…that tends to happen when you sleep the week away, I hadn’t been feeling terrific, but I felt pretty good on Thursday, so I got a little more stylish than the sweats and drab t-shirt look I had been sportin’ all week, nothing like a cute outfit to lift your spirits huh? Well as I was writing this I couldn’t help but notice that the majority of this outfit is made of up stuff that belonged to family members.
