Fashion Friday From Day To Night

Hello and a very Happy Friday to you all. I thought I might switch things up a little bit this Friday and give you two different looks from the same outfit. Isn’t it amazing the power accessories have? With just a few swaps you can make your outfit go seamlessly from daytime casual to elegant evening.

Look 1. Day time casual. I wore precisely this outfit to have a lunch date with a dear friend, and afterwards I did a little walking around and even a little shopping. This outfit is everything I like for a chill day out: Stylish but not terribly overdressed (at least by my standards), and it’s completely functional, the large purse means I can carry all of the junk I think I need 😉 and the sneakers mean I wont complain about every step I take the way I do in most heels.

Look 2. Pinup inspired glamour. Now admittedly after my day out I got ” all dolled up” for this alternative look but didn’t actually go anywhere haha. I do think this outfit would work beautifully for a fancier night out though, don’t you?

Fashion Friday Silly and Sassy

Fashion Friday heads to Dallas Pinup.

So Saturday afternoon my best friend and I headed out for a bit of shopping. I had found out about Dallas Pinup just through searching google for Rockabilly/Pinup clothing stores in the Dallas region. Let me tell you I am beyond thrilled I found this place. The moment I walked through the door I felt as though I had died and gone to my own retail heaven! You walk in and your eyes don’t know where to settle first, the dress rack to your right? The cosmetics in the center? The hats on the left? Oh it’s all so perfect! I totally spaced and forgot to take interior pictures of the store sorry, maybe I was a little too excited 😉 I did manage to remember to snap a few pics of different dresses when I was in the fitting room though.

Almost bought this white dress, it was so darling! Doesn’t my best friend look stunning?

Another considered purchase, I was head over heals in love with the shape.

My best friend is such a knock out!

Please excuse my ever so messy hair, trying on clothes has a way of messing your do up. This romper was sooooo cute but you only get to see the top half cause it was a bit short on me. 😉 I did actually purchase a dress but you’ll just have to wait to see it. I want to give it a proper shoot. But I shall share my outfit I wore that day though.
