Fashion Friday Winter Wonderland

The weather was pretty insane this week. I cannot recall a time when Dallas has seen so much ice. So for this week I will be sharing a very winter prepared outfit. If you follow me on instagram you have already seen these pictures. I didn’t have the opportunity to do another shoot this week. But hey this is better than nothing right?

Outfit Repeater

Repeating outfits is something I am guilty of all the time, I’m not sure if its out of laziness or lack of clothes, either reason I don’t really care. Anyway here is a look of an outfit I wore while I was out of town on a roadtrip. I wanted to be comfortable but I didn’t want to look like a slob either. I think this outfit has the perfect comfort to style ratio.

Fashion Friday heads to Dallas Pinup.

So Saturday afternoon my best friend and I headed out for a bit of shopping. I had found out about Dallas Pinup just through searching google for Rockabilly/Pinup clothing stores in the Dallas region. Let me tell you I am beyond thrilled I found this place. The moment I walked through the door I felt as though I had died and gone to my own retail heaven! You walk in and your eyes don’t know where to settle first, the dress rack to your right? The cosmetics in the center? The hats on the left? Oh it’s all so perfect! I totally spaced and forgot to take interior pictures of the store sorry, maybe I was a little too excited 😉 I did manage to remember to snap a few pics of different dresses when I was in the fitting room though.

Almost bought this white dress, it was so darling! Doesn’t my best friend look stunning?

Another considered purchase, I was head over heals in love with the shape.

Please excuse my ever so messy hair, trying on clothes has a way of messing your do up. This romper was sooooo cute but you only get to see the top half cause it was a bit short on me. 😉 I did actually purchase a dress but you’ll just have to wait to see it. I want to give it a proper shoot. But I shall share my outfit I wore that day though.
