Fashion Friday Featuring Restricted Shoes Pt 1.

Hello my lovelies. Has this week been exceptionally long for anyone else or was it just me? Well regardless, it is finally the weekend hooray, and I have a wonderful post to share with you all. Today I am featuring Restricted shoes, a family-owned and opperated business that encourages all women to express their own personal style how they see fit, and is there any better way to express yourself than through shoes?  I think not.

Belt: Vintage/Similar

Skirt: Vintage/Similar

Shoes: Restricted Shoes Well aren’t these shoes just a darling culmination of everything I love in footwear! First off the oxford design is superb, the height and stability of a wedge is killer, and can I just say that a T-strap detailing will get me everytime? I mean there is a reason the T-strap hasn’t been out of style since it first hit the scene in the 20’s. Plus these bad boys are really comfortable, honestly I was rather blown away  by how soft the faux leather is, translations I’m not going to get blisters *Hallelujah Chorus* 😉 all in all I could not be more thrilled by the shoes, they are stylish, comfortable, and positively timeless, what more could a girl want?

I hope you all enjoyed this post and that you check out Restricted Shoes. Happiest of Fridays!

Oh and if you’re thinking of getting a pair of shoes, starting December 1st- the 31st use the discount code SARAHFORSHAW30 for 30% off of your purchase.

Fashion Friday Featuring Dream Hats

I had a whole shoot planned with a good location…however the weather made that impossible, seriously weather you couldn’t have waited til night to start pouring down rain? Anyway this week’s Fashion Friday is featuring my gorgeous fascinator from http://www.dreamhats.com/ I love all things glamorous and vintage and boy does Dream Hats deliver! Never have I seen such a beautiful fascinator, I squealed with delight when I first saw it! Not only does Dream Hats carry pinup style and Renaissances pieces but they will also do custom orders for special occasions like weddings, how great is that? Also if you live in the Dallas region or are planning a visit to our fair city you can find Dream Hat pieces at http://www.dallaspinup.com/

Necklace: Made it myself. It was my lazy DIY.

Bracelets: Pow wows.

Blue Tank: Costco I think?

Dragonfly Tank: Old Navy.

Shorts: Target.

Wedges: Payless.

I hope you all liked this post, and that all of you have a wonderful weekend! Happy Friday!

Fashion Friday!

Wow is it Friday already? This week flew by pretty quick…that tends to happen when you sleep the week away, I hadn’t been feeling terrific, but I felt pretty good on Thursday, so I got a little more stylish than the sweats and drab t-shirt look I had been sportin’ all week, nothing like a cute outfit to lift your spirits huh? So here it is my lovelies Fashion Friday!

Earrings: World Market.

Necklace: Belonged to Pop.

Bracelet: Belonged to my Grandma.

Owl Ring: Charlotte Russe. My little sister got it for me, isn’t that sweet?

Denim Jacket: Stole it out of my mom’s closet.

Brown Tank: Old Navy.

Black mini: H&M got this skirt for under $6! Gotta love that!

Anklet: I won a giveaway for a gift card to Dress911.com from http://pinuppersuasion.com/ and bought this sweet little thing.

Flip flops: Old Navy.

Nail polish: Is Essie in Lapis of Luxury.

Well as I was writing this I couldn’t help but notice that the majority of this outfit is made of up stuff that belonged to family members. Pretty neat, you never know where you might find your favorite fashion pieces. What are some of your favorite fashion finds? And where did you get them? A store, grandma’s jewelry box, or your mom’s closet? I would love to here from you guys! I hope you all have a very Happy Fashionable Friday and fabulous weekend! Love you guys.

Fashion Friday :)

Wow I am doing another Fashion Friday. I really liked this look so I though I would share. It was just such a lovely day here in Dallas, not too warm and not too cold, so that means a dress and layering day to me. So here it is.

Dress: Target. It was a Christmas gift a few years back.

Vest: Target. A hand me down from my sister-in-law. I always wanted an older sister for that reason 😉

Panty hose: Kohl’s.

Socks: Forever 21

Boots: Atwoods Home and Farm Supply. I got these babies on sale for about $60 which is almost unheard of!

Nose ring: Hot Topic…it’s a fake :/

Turquoise bracelet: A Native American Festival, I picked it up and loved it…but it was too small, so the sweet little Navajo grandma who made and sold the jewelry, added more beads and wire to it to make it fit me! How sweet!

Gold Bracelet: Family Heirloom.

Headwrap: I think my mom found it at a garage sale.

Earrings: Charlotte Russe. These were free, for every $15 you spent you were able to choose a piece of jewelry under x amount of dollars.

So I hope you all enjoyed this post! Wishing everyone a Happy Friday and fabulous weekend!
